PIANO SLAM 2025 composition
Bachanale

Rodriguez has served as Composer-in-Residence of the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra, the Dallas Symphony, the San Antonio Symphony, among others. He currently holds the endowed chair of University Professor of Music at The University of Texas at Dallas. His composition for two pianos, “Bachanale”, was commissioned by the Dranoff 2 Piano Foundation for the 7th International Two Piano Competition.
PIANO SLAM is a classical performance and education program and annual poetry competition which brings live classical performances to classrooms and uses music and arts-integrated curriculum as a tools for students to learn core subjects in public middle and high schools.
PIANO SLAM is a program of The Murray Dranoff Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)(3) tax exempt charitable organization. Donations to 501(c)(3) nonprofits are tax-deductible.
